how do you find csc 2π/13 using a calculator? confused since theres no terminal point for π/13... help please

OpenStudy (zzr0ck3r):

depends on the calculator on a ti-89 csc(2pi/(13))

OpenStudy (debbieg):

On a more old-school calculator (like mine, lol)... you need to use the fact that: csc(x)=1/sin(x) So you would evaluate 1/[sin(2pi/13)]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so how do you find sin(2pi/13) @DebbieG

OpenStudy (zzr0ck3r):

just like that sin(2pi/13)

OpenStudy (debbieg):

Your calculator has to have a "SIN" button on it. If you don't have a calculator with the trig functions - at least SIN, COS, TAN - and you are taking trig, then you probably need to invest in a new calculator.
