Distribute the exponent to all \[\frac{ 5^{-1} x ^{1} }{ x ^{-3} }\] Now basically if there is anything with an exponent with a negative it goes on the other side of the fraction bar it is on so youre answer from here will be \[\frac{ x ^{3} x }{ 5 }\] the x's are being multipled so you can combine them and youre final answer will be \[\frac{ x ^{4} }{ 5 }\]
