I need help with at question please: 10. Name a plane parallel to plane ABG This is the figure attached this link: https://scontent-a-iad.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-frc1/1229852_620398181334353_1156388698_n.jpg?dl=1
You need a plane that never intersects with it. One that just runs next to it
Would it be HGL?
That intersects with ABG at a right angle which means it's perpendicular, not parallel
Ahk ?
That also intersects...
I think it's klg?
If the plane touches ABG at all, it isn't parallel. Parallel planes never touch
Fen?
Parallel planes and lines have to run in the same direction, not at 90 degrees. I think you've named almost all perpendicular planes and not any parallel ones.
I don't recall parallel ever not being anything but slanted lines this abg I'd throwing me off
Cde
Shade in that plane on your paper. Then, shade in CDEF and notice how they run the same direction and never intersect. They're parallel.
Yes! Good job :)
CDEF is the same plane as ABGH. The plane that is parallel to ABGH is IKMJ.
Two planes that intersect AB
You mean line AB?
I meant: name two planes that intersect at AB<-->
Wouldn't that be ac and ad
?
plane ABGH and plane IACJ intersect at line AB.
Name 3 collinear points?
Would it be ikh
