If you roll one dice and it lands on a 6, what is the percent chance of you rolling a 6 on another roll?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

A. 10.33% B. 16.67% C. 6% D. 60.5%

OpenStudy (kenljw):

The roll of a die is statistically independent from previous rolls, therefore the probability of rolling a six is constant. Like the flipping of a coin the probability of a head is always 50%

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it has to be one of the 4 options though.....

OpenStudy (kenljw):

B, 1/6

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The chance of you rolling a six is 1/6 as there are 6 sides to a dice. 1 divided by 6 = 0.1666 just convert that to a percent! :)
