That was incorrect, since the answer is C; scientist revise the hypothesis and try again collecting more and more data. But thanks for your suggestion.
I dont think so because it tell us that scientists revise to find out data that will fit the hypothsis.
Read page 9 of the chapter 1, specifically the last sentence un Developing a Theory.
Which the entire section about Developing a Theory is about hypothesis' which signifies that C is the appropriate answer.
I think I understood what you mean to say an you are correct and I dont use the same book as yours.
