wat ?
Is it complate ????
OpenStudy (anonymous):
I have to Type this equation in standard form.
OpenStudy (anonymous):
OK !
Standard form is this :
y=mx+d
So y dont have any think :)
and we should kill the -3 .!
Got it ?
OpenStudy (anonymous):
I think so
OpenStudy (anonymous):
So how can we do that ??:)

ummm i have no idea
OpenStudy (anonymous):
y=-0.375x-0.5
OpenStudy (anonymous):
no
OpenStudy (anonymous):
I think /-3 is good :)
Right ?:)
OpenStudy (anonymous):
im lost

first take -4 to other side , then divide to make y's coefficient 1
OpenStudy (anonymous):
our aim is y should have coefficient 1
OpenStudy (anonymous):
and only y should be on that side
OpenStudy (anonymous):
ok
OpenStudy (anonymous):
cuz the standard form of a line's eqn is y = mx =c , where m is slope and c is constant

y = mx +c
OpenStudy (anonymous):
So if we have /-3 have standard :)
k ?
OpenStudy (anonymous):
im confuse all the way
OpenStudy (anonymous):
No , e.ali , don't kill -3 , that becomes part of the slope , dont confuse the person
OpenStudy (anonymous):
listen to me , take 4 to the other side so that there is only y on LHS , then divide everything by 8 to get it in standard form

it's so simple , y should have a coefficient of 1 that's all !!!
