OK, then forget about A's and B's.

Just THINK IT THROUGH.

If something is true, then something else MUST FOLLOW. E.g, the first thing GUARANTEES that the 2nd thing is true.

So if the condition that follows from the first thing ISNT TRUE, then the condition that would guarantee it, MUST NOT BE TRUE.
