Trigonometry 19 Online
OpenStudy (314dokg):

how to convert sine to cosine and vise-versa? pls help me asap ex. cos 180 -> sin sin 270 - >cos

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well do u know the values of those 2 ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

like what cos 180 equals and what sin 270 equals? this should be automatic. think of the unit circle.

OpenStudy (314dokg):

yes i do i hav the table with me cos 180 = -1 and sin 270 = -1 but i need the process on how to convert them

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Where do u think sin is -1 and where do u think cos is -1?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

this should be obvious

OpenStudy (314dokg):

sin - 1 is in the -y axis. and cos under the -y axis 0 but i just wanna knw the process... like show how to do it and sutff

OpenStudy (anonymous):

|dw:1379428393029:dw| but in degrees. cos 180=-1=sin270 likewise sin270=-1=cos180 do u know why

OpenStudy (314dokg):

y?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

basically from above, sin(x)=y and cos(x)=x so our point on the plane is in form of (cos(x) , sin(x))
