For the equation -3x+2y=8 I had to solve to make it into slope intercept form and t=to get the slope and y intercept of the equation. So I tried to do it can you tell me if i did it right. -3x+2y=9 +3x +3x 2y=3x+8 then I dived both sides by Y=1.5x+4 making the slope = 1.5 and the y intercept equal 4 is it right ? if not please explain?

OpenStudy (zzr0ck3r):

its right technically the y intercept is a point (0,4)

Thank you soo much

OpenStudy (zzr0ck3r):

wait, why did you change from 9 to 8?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh that was an accident i didn't mean to change just imagine it still as 8 lol

OpenStudy (zzr0ck3r):

must be a typo

OpenStudy (zzr0ck3r):

ahh ok:)
