It meens that a place is not home without family, freinds, food and education. Also, food and fire represent positive and negative so it has to have both in order to be home.

to be honest the way it is set out it means that a place is not a home with out people who care bout you and respect you and there is a fire to keep you warm and food to keep you alive but me personaly the home is where the heart is. but thats just me
