Mathematics 8 Online
OpenStudy (amistre64):

The reason I loathe online programs ....

OpenStudy (amistre64):

the last part of this question is just sooo stupid to me ...

OpenStudy (amistre64):

i originally said permutation lock ... and my opinion was "wrong"

OpenStudy (uri):

Go post this in OpenStudy Feedback Pl0x.

OpenStudy (amistre64):

why? its math related ...

OpenStudy (austinl):

This has everything to do with mathematics.

thomaster (thomaster):

It's no feedback for Openstudy :P

OpenStudy (zzr0ck3r):

lol, wow that silly

OpenStudy (uri):

Oh yeah..I thought you were telling how much you dislike online schooled kiddies.Sry.

OpenStudy (austinl):

I am not a fan of most online mathematics programs. WileyPlus, MyMathLab... they all shoehorn you into one particular format that you have to follow. Or they have silly questions and answers such as this. It can actually go from being a tad annoying to rage inducing rather quickly.

OpenStudy (amistre64):

since order matters, its a permutations .... but its wrong if you decide to call it that. But apparently since calling it a "fundamental counting rule lock" is mathematically awkward lol ... ugh

OpenStudy (austinl):

This was on MyMathLab yeah? Joyous program.....

OpenStudy (zzr0ck3r):

philosophy class?

OpenStudy (amistre64):

yeah, my stat lab, but same thing

OpenStudy (amistre64):

i spose if i named my son greg, that would be wrong too :)

OpenStudy (zzr0ck3r):

lol

OpenStudy (austinl):

I have to do all of my homework on paper this semester... which I will admit is worse than online programs for the simple fact of you get instantaneous feedback on the programs.

OpenStudy (amistre64):

id love to do paper work. 78% of the battle on this lab thing is trying to decipher what they are talking about to begin with. They expect you to know the rules for whatever games they mention for starters.

OpenStudy (austinl):

Oh, I totally get that. In calculus, they had a problem that mentioned some backwoods thing and I had to Google it, read up on it. THEN I was able to attempt the problem... sometimes I swear they assume too much.

OpenStudy (amistre64):

If Jack has 3 cards, and Sally plays the wumdinger exception that turns time back to 1866; what is the probability that the opponents of the 1972 world series is Alfred Newman?

OpenStudy (austinl):

YES, +1 for you sir.

OpenStudy (amistre64):

:) im going to go stab my brain with a Qtip now
