to find the y intercept, sub in 0 for x

y > 2 (this is the y intercept)

boundary line will be dashed because there is no equal sign involved.

Test point (0,0)
test it....
2x + 4y > 8
2(0) + 4(0) > 8
0 + 0 > 8
0 > 8 (false)
