Conclusion for density ??? help 3 different aluminum were used to take out the density. aluminum strips aluminum shots and aluminum foil. what should be the conclusion?

OpenStudy (aaronq):

so you're comparing the density of the different forms of aluminium? density is defined as the amount of mass in a given amount of space, \(\rho=\dfrac{m}{V}\).

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes i did that . but i dont know what to write for conclusion

OpenStudy (aaronq):

conclude with a statement about your results.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the thing is density of aluminum is 2.70 and i got 2.77, 0.79 and 0.77 3 different densities

OpenStudy (aaronq):

yeah, they should've been the same. Maybe you made a mistake in the calculations? it also depends, if you used like crumpled aluminium foil, there is empty space in between the sheet, and you'll get a lower density.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what should i write ? i'm soo confused i'm gonna get grade on my conclusion

OpenStudy (aaronq):

first double check your calculations. if they're not incorrect, simply wrote what you found, theres nothing else you can do if thats what you got.

OpenStudy (abb0t):

He's right. Even if you're wrong, it might help to write some reasons in your conclusions as to \(why\) your wrong. Discuss density and the shape of your aluminum or whatever.
