what 2 consecutive numbers does 115 fall between?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what do you mean? 2 consecutive odd or even integers or just integers?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

just integers

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well what number comes before 115 and what number comes after 115?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

but those are consecutive even integers....thats what I would put

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I have the question infront of me it is-

OpenStudy (anonymous):

determine which two consecutive whole numbers the square tiot falls between... Thats were i messed up

OpenStudy (jdoe0001):

say if one number is say.... "n" a consecutive number after that, will be n + 1 so, the sum of these 2 numbers, will be 115 or n + (n+1) = 115 solve for "n" to find the 1st one

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I got 13 and 14

OpenStudy (anonymous):

same for 190

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what would my solution be if i have √-121 and its not a real number

OpenStudy (jdoe0001):

hmmm, I guess I lost track of what the question was :(

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well this is a different one

OpenStudy (jdoe0001):

so, you're looking for 2 numbers, squared and consecutive.... what else?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thats it

OpenStudy (jdoe0001):

heheh, w0t? 2 numbers... consecutive and .... squared.... well, I guess \(2^2 \ and \ 3^2\) then
