For the second proof, the first statement is GIVEN
Statement 3 is also GIVEN

Your second proof needs a lot of work
Is the 1st proof right?
\(\large\angle{2} \cong \angle{7}\) because corresponding angles are congruent
The first proof looks okay, but I might have to double-check because your second proof is all wrong.
Just because you see a congruent symbol, that doesn't automatically mean that you use definition of congruent angles.
double check for my first proof to make sure it's right
For parallel lines with a transversal, you use the definitions and theorems related to that.
2nd proof for #2 definition of corresponding angles
Which include the following for congruency: Corresponding Angles are congruent Alternate Interior Angles are Congruent Alternate Exterior Angles are Congruent Vertical Angles are Congruent
Write it in the manner that I have expressed it.
For the 2nd proof 1. Given information
