Which is a possible value for x? 12 52 66 10

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i know the answer is 10, but i would like for someone to please explain why it is 10.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

52=6x-14 these angles should be equal.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

solve for x, you'll get 10

OpenStudy (anonymous):

52=6x-14 52+14=6x 66=6x 66/6=x 11=x

OpenStudy (anonymous):

um was my steps right? @Data_LG2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeah, hmm. wait i'll check the figure again..

OpenStudy (anonymous):

aah, it should be 52 > 6x - 14, because two sides are not equal.. so if you willl solve this you'll get 11>x since only 10 is the only value of x that is less than 11, 10 is the answer..

OpenStudy (anonymous):

still there??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OHHH OK

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so it has to be less that 11 right? @Data_LG2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so thats why it is 10

OpenStudy (anonymous):

YES(^_^)
