Determine the point(s) at which the given function f(x) is continuous. Describe the set of x-values where the function is continuous, using interval notation. f(x)=13/x-15 - 5x

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it will be continuous for all numbers, except where the denominator is zero

OpenStudy (anonymous):

how?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i can't really read what you wrote, but whatever the denominator is, set it equal to zero and solve like for example \[f(x)=\frac{x}{x-1}+6\] is continuous at all numbers except \(1\) because if \(x=1\) then the denominator would be 0

o ok now i understand.
