and your ftn is y=5/x^3, that is going to look very much like that except as y->infinity, it will not stick as close to x=0.

and if i have interpreted it correctly, prove it algebraically that it is simplify is pretty much saying that 1/x^3 is symmetrical because you can do the "diagonal test" where you write a line from the bottom left to the top right and it will be symmetrical. i hope this makes sense.
