An object is moving along a straight line parallel to the x-axis. Its position as a function of time is given by: x(t)=12 m−15 (ms) t+3 (ms2) t2 where the position x is in (m) and the time t is in (s). a:At what time T is the object's velocity zero? b:What is the average velocity between t1= 0.5 s and t2=2.5 s?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

for part a just differentiate and put that equal to zero for 2nd part find velocity at both points... subtract them and divide by 2.5-.5
