Which pair of lines are perpendicular to one another?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

lines that when they intersect form a 90 degree angle

OpenStudy (okra77):

find the slope of each equation and the pair that is opposite and reciprocal are perpendicular

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeah, the easiest way is to put them in y = mx+b form where m is the slope and compare the slopes of the other line and if the slope is opposite sign and the reciprocal they arep perpendicular

OpenStudy (aravindg):

For perpendicular lines product of slopes=-1
