What is the difference between (), [ ], or the | |???

() means the number inside aren't included, [] means they are and | | is absolute value.

example:
(5,9)
everything between 5 and 9 is included but 5 and 9 are not
[5,9]
everything is included including 5 and 9

parenthesis, exponent, multiplication, division, addition, subtraction

bottom is -2(4-5) is -2 times -1 = 2
so your answer is 30/2 which is 15
