@kewlgeek555 can u help

OpenStudy (kewlgeek555):

Yes, I can.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thank you!

OpenStudy (kewlgeek555):

You are welcome. Well, I think the other guy told you what distributive property is. In this case, you will distribute -6, therefore, taking away the paranthesis. Hold on, let me try to figure this one out.

OpenStudy (kewlgeek555):

It would be A I think. I got 30x+42z−12y. Look, this is how you do it. When you distibute -6, you are basically multiplying each term. So -6 * -5x will be -30. -6 * -2y is going to be 12y and -6 * 7z is going to be 42z.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I think its A too, and the last one?

OpenStudy (kewlgeek555):

Are you talking about the last option? It can't be the last option because you didn't distribute -6 to all of the numbers in the paranthesis.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

No for first problem i posted i think its A. For the second problem what u think it is? i think its C

OpenStudy (kewlgeek555):

I don't see a second problem. I see two problems that are the same. You might have accidentally pasted the same one.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ugh hold on

OpenStudy (kewlgeek555):

Its okay. :-)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

-1/5(20x-30y+5z) -4x+6y-z 4x+6y +5z -4x-30y+5z 20x-30y+5z

OpenStudy (kewlgeek555):

Okay, is -1/5 a fraction or a division?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

fraction

OpenStudy (kewlgeek555):

This would also be A. This one is a little harder, but it is A.

OpenStudy (kewlgeek555):

It just tries to confuse you by putting a fraction, but multiplying a number by 1/5 is like dividing by 5.

r u good with geomtry?
