1.What is the range of the function f(x) = x2 + 5? . What is the domain of the function f(x) = x2 + 5? (Points : 1) 2. HELP PLEASE!
think of it like this, in an equation, the domain is x and the range is y.
so 5 would be the range
im in algebra 2 and i struggle in math and i just need somebody to walk me through it
The range is the set of numbers that corresponds to all possible output values for the function.
thanks you guys
Do you know what kind of function 2x+5 is?
oh sorry, is that x^2 ?
no not really
Is it x^2 + 5?
yes
Do you know what it would look like on a graph?
its two questions the range and domain
Yes I know.
If you knew what the graph of the function looked like you would know the answer.
well i go to home school and there really not helpful

sorry, thats really sloppy
but as you can see, it goes forever upward in in either direction
the domain is the set of possible input values for the function..in other words, values of x
the range is the set of all possible output values..in other words, all possible values of y
The range starts at the y intersect and continues into positive infinity
the domain consists of all numbers from negative to positive infinity
yea that makes sence thanks

Can you award a medal if it was helpful? I would greatly appreciate it. :)
