What is chemistry and what it is about? Is it hard?

chemistry is the "scientific study of matter, its properties, and interactions with other matter and with energy".

What makes it difficult? Well, purely because it is the central science. Being that chemistry is a physical science, and that you are dealing with things that simply cannot be seen by the naked eye, makes it difficult for people to really understand some concepts.
Also it is a physical science. That means chemistry is closely related to physics.

From my experience, I can say that chemistry is tough. Not impossible, but often times does not come naturally for most students and requires more time to study than many other disciplines per say, such as sociology, art, english, or even business and philosophy.
