Hi there, i'm extremely confused as to how to answer this question. Could someone please explain how i can solve it, and what steps are taken? Write an equation that represents daily recommended Calories intake c for h horses.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I mainly just need to learn how to write out an equation like this. If anyone could show me it would be much appreciated.

Directrix (directrix):

@Person123 Based on the sparse information posted, I'm thinking something similar to the following: Let h = the number of horses Let x = the number of recommended calories per day per horse Then, C = h * x where C is the total number of calories per day for all x horses

See that's just it though, what i posted is literally the entire question. I have to write an example of what the equation would look like it seems.

Directrix (directrix):

This is what I would put as the answer. The equation would have to be similar to this: Let h = the number of horses Let x = the number of recommended calories per day per horse C = h * x where C is the total number of calories per day for all x horses

Okay i think i get it now, Thanks so much :D

Directrix (directrix):

You are welcome.
