y=-4x/x^2+49

OpenStudy (anonymous):

how would you solve this one?

OpenStudy (kenljw):

y=-4x/x^2+49 y = 49 - 4/x y = (49x - 4)/x x not equal to zero y = 49 (x - 4/49)/x

OpenStudy (anonymous):

If 49 is added to the numerator, then would there be a negative sign because you moved from a positive to a negative and canceled out the (x)? y=-4/x+49
