calculate the density of a rectangular solid that measures 2.00cm in length, 1.20 cm in width, 1.10 cm in height and has a mass of 24.354g

I think the answer is 9.225

Please advise. ... thanks... also how would I find the volume of an irregular shaped object such as a rubber stopper

OpenStudy (anonymous):

volume=length*breadth*height density=mass/volume

OpenStudy (anonymous):

to find volume of rubber stopper find its mass and use volume=mass/density of rubber

OpenStudy (anonymous):

or take a beaker full of water and immerse the stopper in it. volume of water spilled out of beaker =volume of stopper the stopper should be completely submerged in water. it should not float on surface
