Question

The points A, B, C have position vectors i + j + 2k, i + 2 j + k, i + k respectively and lie in the
plane pi.

Find the shortest distance between C and the line AB.

So far, I've worked out the co-ordinates of the points: A(1,1,2) B(1,2,1) C(1,0,1). I'm not sure how to proceed, though. In the previous question I found the area of the triangle ABC but I don't think that will help for this question.
