In Lesson 22: Torque and the SHO, Challenge problem number 3, the solution lists the moment of inertia as I=(mr^2)/2. Why is it not I=(mr^2)/2 + ml^2 via the parallel axis theorem?

cuz the shape for the parallel axis theorem is different from the shape listed in the lesson
