Human understanding of the atom has evolved over time. Describe at least three of the stages in this evolution.

There were many different ideas of the structure of atoms. Democrites decided that atoms were small, solid, invisible spheres. Thomson stated that the atom was like "plumb pudding", with electrons inside of the atom, which was a solid mass. Eventually, after several more models, the Electron Cloud model was formed, and is the one we still use today. I have no idea if this answers your question, but I hope it helps!
