for 23 i got JQP 24 i got NQL 25 i got KQP
One at a time. #23. Supplemental angles sum to 180* (a straight line).
Well i just was giving my answers haha, and did i have it wrng 23?
NQK and JQP are clearly both greater than 90*, right? So their sum is clearly greater than 180*. For supplemental, just look for the angle that "finishes the line".|dw:1379608782368:dw|
so would it be NQP than?
No. NQP IS 180*. You want an angle that, when ADDED to NQK, is a total of 180*.
Oh okay, would it be NQM than? since they pretty much look same than
First of all, you don't want to "eyeball" it. You want to use properties of angles and intersecting lines to get the answer. Second, you don't want an angle that "looks the same" as NQK. That would make the congruent. You aren't asked for congruent, you asked for supplemental. Two angles that SUM to 180*.

Oh okay, i get it now! thanks for explaining that to me. okay since NQK is 90* would JQM be it?
NQK is NOT 90*! LQK is 90*.
Oh okay i am sorry
