An accelerometer is a device that uses the extension of a spring to measure acceleration in terms of Earth's gravitational acceleration (g). What is the approximate acceleration if this accelerometer spring is extended just 0.43 centimeters? a) 0.24 g b) 0.80 g c) 2.00 g d) 2.40 g
First of all you should find equation of the line. you need slope of the line and take a point on the line, then by using \[y-y _{0}=m(x-x _{0})\] you get equation of the line Then you should put 0.43 into equation, after then you can find easily what the answer is.
how do you know which one is the y and the y0 though?
y0 is a point that is on the line and y is variable.
I still don't understand.
y0 can only be 2.10 or 0.53 but y can be any number which is on the line. For instance 1 or 1.0056 or 2.54 or 0.89.
Thanks.
whats the ansewer
b. 0.80g
