I have a domain name and hosting at godaddy.com. Earlier my site was hosted at hostgator and we were able to send an e-mail by php mail function. However, at godaddy the server is not able to send email. Is there any specific server settings that need to be changed at godaddy hosting.

It is going to have to authenticate through the Godaddy servers.
