OpenStudy (anonymous):

thanks @sraeross

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

that answer sraeross posted is wrong simply guessing the answer and giving it doesn't help

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I do believe I see my mistake, it being 'C' the correct answer, and I didn't just guess and say my answer.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

can you help me with my other question i just posted?

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

C is incorrect too

OpenStudy (anonymous):

this isnt being turned in, i just need the correct answers so i can practice the formula on my own. so what is the correct answer??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

explain to me how it is wrong please

OpenStudy (anonymous):

^ agreed

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

Why D is wrong 3(–x – 3) 3(–x) + 3(-3) ... distribute -3x - 9 but we wanted -3x + 9

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

Why C is wrong –3(x + 12) –3(x) + (-3)(12) ... distribute -3x + (-36) -3x - 36 but again, we wanted -3x + 9
