A pyramid has a square base that is 160 m on each side. What is the perimeter of the base in kilometers? A. 0.0256 km B. 0.00064 km C. 0.64 km D. 3.2 km

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Since the bottom of the pyramid is a square, add up 160m four times (this is because the square has 4 sides)\[160m+160m+160m+160m=640m\] Now in order to conver ths to km use the convertion 1000m = 1km\[640m*\frac{ 1km }{ 1000m}\] This gives you the answer C. 0.64 km
