Differential equations help?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I am just not sure how to find that linear differential equation.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So...so far, it's asked you to solve the riccati equation to get u(t). Then plug that in to \[w(t)=u(t)-\frac{1}{v(t)}\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Right?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yep...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

How would you even plug it in though? There is nothing to substitute for.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You could solve the Riccati equation then plug that in for \(u(t)\), I have a feeling that a lot of things would become clear after we solve for \(u(t)\).

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well okay in that case I just get: |dw:1379646199192:dw|
