What happened to Japan's economy after World War I and how did people respond?

During World War I Japan's economy was stable to a point. After World War I is a different story, even though Japan had secured a good amount of market share, due to its low status of its name and internal political instabilities Japanese militarism became a huge force. As you can think with military in government people became unhappy, restless as you might say.
