what are the similarities between defined and undefined terms?

Directrix (directrix):

Are you referencing defined and undefined terms in Geometry or in general? @ta18

OpenStudy (anonymous):

geometry,.. I have an assignment do but I just cant figure out the ansewer! :(

Directrix (directrix):

In Geometry, the terms point, line, and plane are accepted as intuitive ideas and are not defined. These three undefined terms are then used in the definition of other terms such as collinear points, space, parallel lines, and perpendicular planes.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sooo... your saying point, line, and planes are the similarities?? ... please correct me if im wrong.

Directrix (directrix):

No. The similarity is that the undefined terms are used in definitions of other Geometry terms.
