OpenStudy (swag):

That is your computer. Not the site. Mine actually says 15 hours ago, or 3 depending on when posted. It says it for all sites and I do not know how to fix it.

hartnn (hartnn):

just set your computer clock to correct time!

OpenStudy (swag):

I did that but it did not help at all.

OpenStudy (swag):

OpenStudy (opcode):

Clear your cache?

OpenStudy (swag):

Where do I do this??

hartnn (hartnn):

is it 11.28 pm there ?

OpenStudy (swag):

Yes Hartnn

OpenStudy (swag):

Whatever my problem is can fix this users problem. I would love to fix it its been like this for a month or 2.

hartnn (hartnn):

what is the time zone set in your computer ?

OpenStudy (swag):

(UTC-08:00) Pacific Time (US & Canada)

hartnn (hartnn):

if you are in US, the time there should be 8.37 am!

OpenStudy (swag):

Lol I live in Florida which means its 11:37

hartnn (hartnn):

but florida is utc-6 right ?

OpenStudy (swag):

IDK what that means sorry.

hartnn (hartnn):

just google florida time zone and then change your time zone to florida then refresh this page

OpenStudy (swag):

Ok hold on

OpenStudy (opcode):

Did you try clearing your cache?

OpenStudy (swag):

IDK how to do that on Chrome

hartnn (hartnn):

i think ctrl+F5 should do it

OpenStudy (opcode):

^Bingo.

OpenStudy (swag):

Yeah idk whats up with this. I have tried everything. I found something hold on let me show you

hartnn (hartnn):

did u change your timezone first ? any UTC-6 time zone

OpenStudy (swag):

i tried this but everytime i click update it goes back to 8.

OpenStudy (swag):

Hold up

OpenStudy (opcode):

Is your timezone set correctly?

OpenStudy (swag):

GOT IT! I did what you said and also turned off the auto sync which kept putting it back to a different time.

hartnn (hartnn):

unclick on 'Synchronize with internet server'

hartnn (hartnn):

exactly!

hartnn (hartnn):

so for @PFEH.1999 there are only 2 steps, 1) click on time and date, click on "change date and time settings ..." change timezone to where you are living 2) go to internet time tab , then 'change settings' and unclick (if clicked) "Synchronize with an Internet time server"

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

hartnn (hartnn):
