okay so what is supposed to happen is I match the sets together so it makes sense I have to match x divided by y six less than a number is y the product of two numbers is six the sum of x and y x subtracted from y x minus y the sum of two numbers is six the product of two numbers is six six times a number equals y y divided by x okay so those are in no particular order but you have to match those up with these ( you can only use one answer once and they will all match up) xy x/y x-y x+y y-x y/x x+y=6 xy = 6 6x = y y=x-6

OpenStudy (anonymous):

soo x/y is x divided by y

OpenStudy (anonymous):

y=x-6 is six less than a number is y

OpenStudy (anonymous):

xy = 6 is the product of two numbers is six

OpenStudy (anonymous):

x+y is the sum of x and y

OpenStudy (anonymous):

x-y is x subtracted from y

OpenStudy (anonymous):

y-x is x minus y

OpenStudy (anonymous):

x+y=6 is the sum of two numbers is six

OpenStudy (anonymous):

xy = 6 is the product of two numbers is six

OpenStudy (anonymous):

6x = y is six times a number equals y

OpenStudy (anonymous):

y/x is y divided by x

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i hope that helps

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thank you so much!
