if f(x)=8x and g(x)=2x+1 find (fog)(x)

OpenStudy (***[isuru]***):

hi, \[(fog)(x) = f[g(x)]\] I think this will help u... now substitute the value of g(x) instead of x in f(x)......

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ah this is simple. simply multiply the two (8x) (2x+1) which is 16x^2 + 8x

OpenStudy (***[isuru]***):

@OoZe34 I think u have missed something bro... it's not ur answer it should be something... 8(2x + 1)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

why would it be 8 and not 8X? it says f(x) is 8x @***[ISURU]***
