consider that A is supposed to be 40

and u measured it as 20. then you have a 50 percent error right?

now lets say you do 100A = 100*20 = 2000... but the actual answer is supposed to be 100(40) = 4000..
so you got 2000 instead of 4000.. still 50% right?
