There were two kinds of people in the days of the pilgrims, the "Saints" and the "Strangers".. The Saints were the people who were connected to the church and then the Strangers were those who were not connected to the church. The Saints and The Strangers are also known as The Pilgrims. The Saints were forced to join forces with The Strangers because even though the strangers didn't share the same religious beliefs they still wanted to go to the new land of opportunity.
