Anybody has an idea about what is a SILICA crucible?

Silica is a white or colorless crystalline compound, occurring abundantly as quartz, sand, flint, agate, and many other minerals and used to manufacture a wide variety of materials, especially glass and concrete. it can tolerate high temperature around 1200 -1500°C and A Silica Crucible is a vessel made from silica.
