find sin x/2,cos x/2,tan x/2 if tan x=-4/3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

since tan(x) is negative x is either in second quadrant or fourth quadrant... If you assume x is in second quadrant then all sin x/2,cos x/2,tan x/2 are positive If you assume x is in fourth quadrant cosx/2 and tanx/2 will be negative and sin x/2 will be positive

So, x lies in which quadrant???

OpenStudy (anonymous):

where r u frm\
