PLEASE GIVE ME THE GRAPH f(x)=2√ x+c; c=-3, 0, 2

OpenStudy (john_es):

In the order, Red (c=-3), Blue (c=0), Green (c=2)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

can you show me your solutions?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

solutions of how you made the graph

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@hero and @John_ES, you have different graphs..

OpenStudy (wolfe8):

Could it be that the square root only applies to the x and not c? Perhaps that is what makde the answers different?

OpenStudy (john_es):

I plot \[y=\sqrt{x}-3\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yep. The squareroot only applies on the x

OpenStudy (john_es):

For the first case, is the equation right as I wrote it?

OpenStudy (john_es):

Yes, ok.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes @John_ES i get it now thanks..

OpenStudy (john_es):

You can do it by hand, with a table of values. But well, I suppose with the internet tools is better to graph in the computer.

OpenStudy (john_es):

I guess was only for x because I think it was a problem about function transformations. ;)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes @Hero sorry my bad

OpenStudy (john_es):

In the y axis I mean XD.

OpenStudy (john_es):

I hope I could do the same guesses in lottery.

OpenStudy (john_es):

You are right .;)
