How does the launch of a space shuttle or rocket demonstrate newton's law of force.

OpenStudy (wolfe8):

I would say it's the law that for every action there is a reaction. The action would be the force exerted downward to move the rocket upward to the earth by the rocket. The reaction would be the pull of gravity downward. Here, the thrust by the rocket will produce no result as long as it is less that the gravitational force.

I know that but my teacher said that we have to show how all three of Newton's laws demonstrate a rocket launch

OpenStudy (wolfe8):

Well that's kind of long...sounds like an essay question to me. I can't help with all of them because I am studying for a test. Sorry. But Google might help.
