Solve T=C(5+AB) for A

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So, I got here: T=C5+ABC ??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

a=t/bc - 5/b

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Im confused.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

u want me to post how i got that?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes, please.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok since a is on the right hand sideof the equation, switch sides so its on the left

OpenStudy (anonymous):

divide each term in equation by c, then simply

OpenStudy (anonymous):

since 5 does not contain a variable to solve for, move to right hand side, by subtracting 5 from both sides

OpenStudy (anonymous):

move all terms not containing A to right hand side of equation

OpenStudy (anonymous):

then divide each term by B

OpenStudy (anonymous):

finally simply the left hand side of the equation by cancelling the common factors

OpenStudy (anonymous):

then u simplfy equaiton adn thts it

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay thanks! :)
