Just checking: A triangular parking lot has two sides that are teh same length and the third side is 5m longer. If the perimeter is 71m, find the lengths of the sides. I did it this way: x+x+x+5=71 3x+5=71 3x+5-5= 71-5 3x=66 3/3x= 66/3 = 22 So the two sides that are the same are 22 then added 5 for the other side to be 27.
