How is naming a line segment different from naming a line..........?.............I will give a medal.....

OpenStudy (debbieg):

Line L includes line segments PQ, QR, and PR |dw:1379889460108:dw|

OpenStudy (anonymous):

can you explain that in like a paragraph

OpenStudy (debbieg):

Do you understand what a line segment is, and how it is different from a line?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes

OpenStudy (debbieg):

A line segment has two endpoints, and includes every point between those endpoints. A line does not have endpoints, it goes on infinitely in both directions. The line includes every point on the line.

OpenStudy (debbieg):

OK, then I'm not sure what else I can tell you.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok well thanks for your help......someone else gave me the answer..... :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

how is constructing a perpendicular bisector similar to constructing angle bisector and how is it different? can you help me with this one???

OpenStudy (anonymous):

how about this one......... describe a process you would use to create the perpendicular bisector to a segment AB using only an unmarked straightedge and an unmarked compass.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

welll I guess not, well thanks for your help any way and I guess since your the only one that answered, and you helped me a little ........ you get a medal........ thanks @DebbieG ......
